Our Lady of Victories Church
OUR MISSION
Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Parish is a community of the faithful committed to celebrating and communicating the spirit of Jesus, not only by our words, but also by our actions. Together we will strive to continue Christ’s mission: to teach, to bless, to heal, and to reconcile one another to the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit.
OUR HISTORY
A hundred years old Roman Catholic church at the heart of Jersey City along John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Under the Diocese of Newark.
OUR COMMUNITY
The earliest parishioner of Our Lady of Victories were immigrants and their descendants of European background. In the decades since its establishment in 1917, the parish has experienced a transformation that is not unusual for many urban parishes. OLV today includes people of African, Caribbean, Latino immigration and their descendants, with a plurality of immigrants and their descendants from the Philippines.
